Nzuri Holistic Wellness Booking & Session Policies
Appointments
All treatments, coaching sessions and wellness consultations are by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance. A confirmation email or message will be sent once your booking is secured. You may book via call, direct message or using the Google calendar link.
New clients are required to complete an intake form prior to their first appointment. This allows time for a proper consultation and ensures that your sessions are tailored to your needs.
Coaching sessions run according to the agreed timeframe and begin at the scheduled time. Massage appointments include a brief intake and wrap up. Leah will advise how much time to allow for each treatment.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of booking or immediately following the session, depending on the service. Coaching packages must be paid according to the agreed payment structure.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session cost.
No shows may be charged the full session fee.
This policy ensures fairness to other clients who may be waiting for an appointment and respects the time specifically set aside for your session and related preparation.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, Leah will do her best to accommodate you, but your session may still end at the originally scheduled time to accommodate the next client. The full session fee will apply.
If you anticipate being late, please send a message as soon as possible.
Preparing for Your Massage Session
For optimal benefit from your massage:
Take a long, very warm shower before your appointment to help relax your muscles and calm your mind.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that is easy to remove.
Avoid heavy meals within one hour before your session.
If exercising on the same day, it is best to do so before your massage rather than after.
Remove as much jewellery as possible and keep makeup minimal.
After Your Massage
Drink plenty of water/coconut water for the rest of the day.
Avoid heavy meals immediately after the session.
Mild tenderness is normal, especially if muscles were tight prior to the massage. A cold compress, light stretching or gentle yoga can help.
Allow yourself time to rest and avoid strenuous activity immediately after the session.
Health and Safety
Please inform Leah in advance of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or recent surgeries. If you are feeling unwell on the day of your appointment, please reschedule.
Coaching Sessions
Coaching sessions are collaborative and require openness, honesty and a willingness to take responsibility for agreed actions between sessions.
To get the most from your coaching experience:
Arrive prepared and on time.
Complete any reflective exercises or agreed tasks between sessions.
Create a quiet, uninterrupted space if meeting virtually.
Results are influenced by your level of engagement and consistency.
Respectful Space
Nzuri Holistic Wellness maintains a professional and respectful environment at all times. Any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future bookings.
